About MK Productions Meeting and Event Planners

Having been a coordinator, director, and a teacher in top organizations throughout Los Angeles and San Diego County, I have covered all aspects of coordinating meetings and special events within special venues.  I have worked with existing clients who are holding meetings within their facility and outside venues. MK Productions has produced special events representing a variety of creative themes.

I have interfaced with food service managers to create menus, worked with in house and hired audio visual companies to provide audio and visual services, and hired outside production and prop companies to carry out my theme ideas.  I have built a file of contacts for many event support services, including graphic designer, florist, balloon artist, and entertainment providers.

Maria Garcia-Kamon holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Home Economics as well as several certificates in various subjects such as child development, children’s center permit, and Meeting and Event Planning from California State University at San Marcos, in 2004. She has also completed graduate work in the field of Education. It is of the utmost importance to Maria Garcia-Kamon to have the latest information on the trends in the meeting and event planning profession.
